About the position

Alsco Uniforms is seeking an Office Clerk to join our team in Reno, NV. This full-time position is classified as non-exempt and reports directly to the Office Manager. The Office Clerk will be responsible for the daily processing of company business transactions and may be assigned various clerical tasks as needed. These tasks may include keypunching for routes, filing, customer service, and other related duties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our commitment to excellent customer service. In this position, you will engage in accurate and timely computer data entry, maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for reporting, and perform reconciliations, daily deposits, and customer master maintenance. You will also be responsible for printing and organizing daily paperwork for routes, using a postage meter, and managing customer billing. The Office Clerk will participate in office training and cross-train in various office functions to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's success. Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely computer data entry.
  • Maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for reporting.

  • Participate in office training and cross-train in various office functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated good computer experience or ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with data entry and adding machine.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
