About the position

Behavioral Services of Collier (BSC) is an agency that specializes in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, providing services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and more. The office clerk/customer service representative will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the agency by providing excellent customer service and maintaining high organizational standards. This position requires a high degree of organization, flexibility, and self-management skills, as well as a passion for helping children and families in need of behavioral services. The ideal candidate will be motivated and eager to grow with the agency as it expands its services across multiple counties including Collier, Hendry, Lee, Glades, Charlotte, Sarasota, St. Lucie, and Hillsborough. In this role, the office clerk will be responsible for checking records and documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring that all requirements are met before processing billing. The clerk will also send notifications to therapists when applicable and complete internal quality assurance reviews as directed. Effective communication with company personnel in a professional and friendly manner is essential, as is the ability to provide training to therapists as needed. The office clerk must understand the sense of urgency and prioritization of tasks, performing other appropriate duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and the company. Providing exceptional customer service is a key component of this position, as the clerk will be the first point of contact for clients and their families seeking assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Check records and documents for accuracy and compliance

Requirements

  • 2 years of customer service experience (Preferred)
  • 2 years of computer skills (Preferred)
  • Fluency in Spanish (Required)
