About the position

The Office Clerk position at the New Mexico State Personnel Office is essential for providing clerical support to local health office staff. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including preparing correspondence, generating reports, answering phones, filing, and performing data entry. The clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that medical reports are secured and that billing and data entry are handled efficiently. Additionally, the clerk is responsible for scheduling appointments and ensuring attendance at CMS appointments and outreach clinics. This position is particularly important as it provides direct service functions that are billable under licensed CMS Social Workers.
