About the position

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team at the Children Mercy Adele Hall in Kansas City, MO. This full-time position is crucial as it serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained. The Office Clerk will be responsible for answering questions, addressing concerns, and taking appropriate actions to rectify any issues that may arise. In addition to customer service duties, the role involves performing various administrative support tasks and general clerical tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office environment. The Office Clerk will work a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with specific details to be discussed during the interview process. This position requires a minimum of two years of prior experience in an office or clerical role, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is also a critical requirement. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Answer questions and take appropriate actions to handle concerns or rectify problems.
  • Perform various administrative support tasks and general clerical tasks as assigned.
  • Provide support for organizational procedures and escalate concerns to managers when necessary.
  • Complete office clerical projects as assigned when call volume is low.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of prior office/clerical experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, accuracy, and customer service skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
