The Office Clerk / Processing Clerk position at 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. involves auditing and reviewing records for accuracy, processing high volumes of transactions, and managing various clerical tasks. The role is essential for maintaining efficient operations within the company, particularly in handling claims and invoices. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing transactions and will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and review records for completion and accuracy.
  • Review Acknowledgment of Paternity documents to determine acceptance.
  • Maintain appropriate logs to track rejected documents.
  • Research and print requested certificates daily.
  • Reconcile monies collected and resolve any discrepancies with daily settlement.
  • Collect, open, and track mail received throughout the day.
  • Sort, organize, and bind large quantities of records for storage.
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding certificate processing times by phone.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Claims or Invoice Processor.
  • 2 years of experience as an Office Clerk.
  • Ability to commute to Richmond, VA 23230.
  • Ability to relocate to Richmond, VA 23230 before starting work.
