About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our automotive collision company team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of our office, including managing phone systems, filing documents, and utilizing computer software. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls using office phone systems.
  • Organize and maintain files, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Assist with office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in computerized systems.
  • Prepare documents and reports as needed.
  • Provide support to other team members as required, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office clerk or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and managing communications effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Outlook suite (Word, Excel, Outlook email).
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair and collision terms or a willingness to learn.
