The office clerk is an essential team member that supports the main office as well as the entire building. The office clerk will provide clerical assistance to other personnel, keep cumulative records complete and up to date, and transfer files between buildings when needed. The role also involves assisting with tracking student attendance, answering the office phone, and assisting parents as needed. The office clerk will support office/building staff on Timeclock and Frontline platforms and assist with schoolwide communication via newsletters, emails, messages, and website content. Additionally, the office clerk will type a variety of materials from rough drafts or corrected copies and perform any other duties assigned by the principal. This position is available during the regular school year, with hours typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although times may vary depending on the building assignment. The average workday is 8 hours, and the position is non-exempt under FLSA regulations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to make responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations promptly.
  • Must pass a background check.
