About the position

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Office Clerk in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The role primarily involves administrative tasks within our office setting. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including managing front desk coverage, handling mail, running errands, and assisting with file management. The Office Clerk will ensure smooth operations of the front desk, particularly during lunch breaks and in the absence of the receptionist. This position requires a proactive approach to managing office tasks and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. In this role, the Office Clerk will be responsible for collecting and distributing mail within the office and occasionally retrieving items from the post office. The candidate will carry out errands as required, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed efficiently. Utilizing computer programs and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage and update customer records is essential. The Office Clerk will also handle inbound customer calls, providing excellent customer service at all times, and perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, and correspondence. Additionally, the Office Clerk will manage and organize files, including scanning and destruction of files in accordance with deadlines. The role involves leveraging accounting software systems and ADP - Financial Services for billing functions, as well as utilizing the IBM AS/400 system for data entry and other office tasks. Overall, the Office Clerk will contribute to the smooth running of the office and support team efforts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth operations of the front desk, particularly during lunch breaks and absence of the receptionist.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of experience in an office clerk role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software systems is essential.
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a requirement.
  • Must have the ability to utilize various computer programs effectively.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of IBM AS/400 will be advantageous.
  • The ability to manage answering inbound calls in a professional manner is necessary.
  • Must be capable of executing billing functions accurately.
  • Proficiency in performing clerical duties including filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Strong correspondence skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
