About the position

The Office Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our real estate office. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the office, including answering phones, greeting clients, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation, organization, and filing of real estate documents, contracts, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in the company's database, including property listings, client information, and transaction records.
  • Manage appointments and meetings for agents and staff, coordinating property showings and open houses as needed.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ordering supplies and managing inventory as necessary.
  • Work closely with real estate agents and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the team.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and online listings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an office setting, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with real estate software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
