About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Johnson Brothers is responsible for managing customer orders, addressing complex service issues, and providing exceptional support to both customers and internal teams. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with others. The position is integral to maintaining customer relationships and ensuring accurate order processing in a dynamic beverage distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service and support to customers and internal teams
• Timely responses to customer inquiries regarding their account
• Building and maintaining customer and sales relationships
• Ensuring proper pricing levels for specific customers are entered timely and accurately
• Assisting customers and sales staff with new account setup and troubleshooting
• Working with sales support teams to issue product samples
• Offering product guidance and knowledge when necessary
• Communicating with sales and operations for account reconciliation assistance
• Serving as the main point of contact for incoming phone calls
• Running and distributing reports
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience and/or a 2-year college degree
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally and at all levels
• Proven ability to work independently and is reliable
• Attention to detail is critical, accuracy is a must
• Ability to find ways to increase efficiency
• Effective problem-solving skills when encountering new and unique challenges
• Ability to interpret and apply complicated rules related to state regulations around liquor
• Excellent skills with the entire MS Office Suite
• AS400 experience is preferred
