In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our supermarket. You will be responsible for a variety of clerical tasks, assisting management and staff in maintaining efficient office procedures and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records and documentation. Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and requests in a friendly and professional manner, either in person or over the phone. Inventory Management: Help track inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions. Financial Transactions: Process cash register transactions, assist with daily cash reconciliation, and maintain accurate financial records. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, relaying messages and information as needed. Scheduling: Assist in scheduling staff shifts, meetings, and appointments, ensuring optimal coverage for store operations. Report Preparation: Compile and prepare reports related to sales, inventory, and other operational metrics as requested by management. Office Supplies Management: Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure the office is well-stocked. Compliance: Ensure that all office procedures comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall supermarket operations and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred, ideally in a retail or supermarket environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.). Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.
