We are looking for an Office Clerk to join our team at PersonalUmbrella.com Insurance Services, located in Emeryville, CA. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our mailroom operations by processing important and time-sensitive financial and insurance documents. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle new challenges as our business continues to evolve. This position requires a commitment of 18 hours per week, primarily during the day shift from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mailroom tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of our operations. As an Office Clerk, your daily responsibilities will include scanning and preparing financial and insurance policy documents, receiving and sorting incoming mail, preparing and processing outgoing mail, overseeing the folding machine for bulk mail, and making daily mail runs to the post office. Additionally, you may be asked to perform other office duties as needed. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of communication and documentation within our company, and your attention to detail will be key in ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
