About the position

The Office Coordinator at Red Rock Recovery Center plays a crucial role in maintaining the daily operations of the healthcare facility. This position involves managing administrative procedures, ensuring compliance with patient screening policies, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the office. The coordinator will also provide exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders, assist with patient record keeping, and support the executive team with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain an inviting attitude toward incoming patients, stakeholders, visitors, and fellow treatment professionals.
  • Communicate and implement scheduling needs of vendors or visitors.
  • Assist in patient record keeping.
  • Ensure visitors are obtaining appropriate documentation and items.
  • Ensure incoming calls are answered and routed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Executives and other Leadership with requested administrative tasks.
  • Complete patient intake paperwork for any new patient entering the program.
  • Complete office supply inventory.
  • Create patient binders.
  • Maintain the office's daily cleanliness and organization.
  • Verify insurance benefits and coverage for admission candidates.
  • Coordinate with admission staff to determine out of pocket costs for prospective patients.
  • Facilitate patient transportation/pickups.
  • Assist with observing, collecting, reporting, and facilitating drug and alcohol screening.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist (preferred).
  • 1 year of administrative experience (preferred).
