About the position

The Office Coordinator at the Transition Center is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operations of the work location. This role serves as a single point of contact for staff, parents, community members, and visitors, providing administrative support and technical assistance across a wide range of responsibilities. The position is full-time and is part of a 12-month program designed for individuals aged 18-22.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, parents, community members, and visitors.
  • Provide administrative support and technical assistance as needed.
  • Manage office technology and ensure efficient operation of office equipment.
  • Assist in setting work priorities and managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a professional image and interact positively with faculty, staff, students, and the community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  • Skilled in operating office technology including e-mail, voice mail, fax, and copier.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English (speak/read/write).
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish (speak).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
