About the position

The Office Experience Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and efficient office environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that the workspace is clean, stocked, and welcoming, thereby contributing to a productive atmosphere for the team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, handling both regular tasks and project-based responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office areas, including wiping down desks and conference room tables.
  • Ensure conference rooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies and chairs are arranged appropriately.
  • Regularly stock fridges and snacks for employee access.
  • Distribute office supplies across all three floors as needed.
  • Ensure bathrooms are stocked with amenities and refreshed throughout the day.
  • Provide brief coverage for the concierge desk during breaks.
  • Set up Foodee orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays and prepare the drink cart for meetings.
  • Assist with catering clean-up after events and meetings.
  • Conduct an end-of-year locker sweep, discarding unclaimed items and organizing remaining items.
  • Coordinate a year-end junk purge, gathering unneeded items for disposal or recycling.
  • Organize the storage cage, take inventory, label containers, and discard unnecessary items.
  • Label chairs for easy identification and organize the library collection, shipping or donating excess books as needed.
  • Regularly clear the package rack, coordinating with recipients for pick-up or shipping.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address office needs.
  • Physical capability to perform duties such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and manage supplies across multiple floors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in office management or facilities roles is a plus but not required.
