About the position

The Office & Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the general management of warehouse operations, which includes a variety of tasks related to inventory control, shipping, receiving, logistics, and office and HR management. This role is crucial in ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to safety standards and operational protocols. The manager will supervise daily activities within the warehouse, ensuring that all operations align with the company's quality assurance and inventory management standards. This position requires a proactive approach to managing logistics, including negotiating contracts with freight vendors and ensuring that all shipments meet the required specifications. Additionally, the Office & Inventory Manager will play a key role in human resources functions, including interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, as well as maintaining employee records and attendance. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and managing office administration tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, shipping & receiving.
  • Ensure the goods delivered & received conform to the specifications on the invoices.
  • Manage inventory effectively according to material in-and-out procedure.
  • Supervise warehouse attendants to perform general housekeeping of the warehouse on 5S management standard.
  • Ensure safe working conditions inside the warehouse per OSHA's requirement.
  • Handle and manage freight and shipping contract & agreement with vendors including price negotiation, contract signing and performance review.
  • Continue searching FTL/LTL/flatbed carriers with competitive price and good service.
  • Supervise and review freight invoices & statement for payment process.
  • Follow the freight claims.
  • Interview and hire new employees.
  • Train new employees.
  • Prepare employee contracts and tax forms.
  • Monitor employee attendance.
  • Manage office labor discipline and behavior criterion daily management.
  • Maintain good office and warehouse condition and arrange necessary repairs.
  • Maintain contracts of service maintenance and price negotiations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Forklift Certification.
  • Experience in warehouse supervision.
