About the position

We are seeking an Office Manager with strong administrative skills to join our team at our Migrant Facility in Long Island City, NY. This full-time position offers a salary of $50,000 per year and is ideal for someone who is a natural leader, ambitious, outgoing, and highly organized. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing both physical paperwork and electronic communications, ensuring that all office operations run smoothly. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with vendors, clients, and staff, and who is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be tasked with purchasing and maintaining office supplies, assisting with internal and external communications, and supporting program correspondence and information dissemination. You will also play a key role in creating and maintaining program filing systems, both electronic and physical, and will be responsible for maintaining the staff work schedule. Additionally, you will prepare and communicate agency or program-related messages to relevant staff and perform other general administrative functions as assigned.
