About the position

The Office Manager position at QSAC, Inc. involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Administration Department. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Office Manager will assist the Director and Assistant Director, handle logistics for meetings, and serve as a liaison with vendors and various agencies, ensuring smooth operations within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Complete QSAC Training 1 & 2 (New Hire Orientation & OPWDD Training)
  • Act as assistant to the Director and Assistant Director of Administration
  • Help with logistics for various meetings and events
  • Assist in administration of agency cell and office phones
  • Act as liaison with vendors and staff and various city and state agencies
  • Manage vendor accounts, including receipts, billing, and access
  • Assist and address various operational, maintenance and logistical needs for the department and agency
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Act as backup for the Front Desk and Reception when other staff are unavailable
  • Perform miscellaneous office and special assignments as assigned by Director and/or Assistant Director of Administration.

Requirements

  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with flexibility
  • Ability to track and follow-up on all outstanding issues and projects
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to lift 40lbs of dead weight
  • NYS Drivers License preferred
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred or related administrative and/or customer service experience required
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are expected
  • Maintain individual/family confidentiality

  • Dependability and flexibility are expected
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
