About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, with experience in managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including AR/AP, payroll, and entering fuel receipts.
  • Oversee accounting functions such as debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare job reports for customers and reports to assist in corporate accounting decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • File IFTA (Fuel Tax) reports, heavy-use tax, and registration of new equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role with a focus on accounting tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of debits, credits, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks Online.
  • Experience with payroll processing and accounts receivable management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
