The Office Manager/Medical Biller will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by managing billing processes, verifying insurance, and ensuring accurate patient billing. Responsibilities

• Process and submit CMS medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Review and appeal denied or unpaid claims.
• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.
• Stay current on medical coding guidelines and regulations.
• Perform office administrative work including answering phones, scheduling clients, managing employee billing, and collecting client payments.

Requirements

• Prior experience in medical billing or related field is required.
• Experience in verifying insurances, including Medicaid and Private insurances.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing practices.
• Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
