About the position

The Office Manager position at a growing mid-size CPA firm is essential for supporting daily administrative operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of office activities, managing workflow processes, and handling key administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, communication, and general administration.
  • Manage e-filing of tax returns and other required documents.
  • Coordinate office supply orders and inventory management.
  • Track and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Provide administrative support in HR functions, including payroll processing, maintaining HRIS records, and related tasks.
  • Prepare special reports and presentations as required by senior management.
  • Utilize workflow software to manage office tasks and optimize efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and tracking.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
  • Familiarity with e-filing processes and HRIS systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves
