Responsibilities

  • General office duties of scanning, faxing and e-mailing
  • Collecting Co-Payment
  • Preparing patients intake forms to be entered into the patient data base
  • Scheduling surgical procedures
  • Maintaining inventory of office and medical supplies
  • Responding to medical records requests
  • Obtaining information and authorizations on worker's compensation cases

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in medical terminology
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of computer skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization process and medical billing
  • Sufficient computer skills to perform data entry and work with electronic medical records system

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish or Russian
