About the position

The Office Manager at ALPA Auto Insurance is a full-time in-office role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and managing a team of agents. This position requires strong leadership skills and a focus on customer service, as well as the ability to develop sales and marketing strategies to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the store on time.
  • Scheduling, underwriting, training/coaching, and reporting.
  • Creating sales/marketing strategies and delegating tasks to agents.
  • Maintaining open communication with upper management.
  • Ensuring agents adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting customers with various insurance needs, including new policies and payments.
  • Inspecting vehicles to assess insurance risk.
  • Assisting with daily housekeeping routines for COVID safety.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of insurance sales experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of lead/supervisory experience.
  • Limited Lines License required; Property & Casualty (P&C) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing and bank deposits.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
