About the position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a knack for team management, and a commitment to fostering a productive workplace. This role involves supervising clerical staff, managing front desk operations, and overseeing human resources functions, including payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
  • Supervise and train clerical staff, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations.
  • Oversee front desk activities, including greeting visitors and managing phone systems.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for important documents and records.
  • Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
  • Collaborate with management to implement office policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably as an Office Manager or similar position.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and documentation processes.
  • Experience in training development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices, including payroll management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and visitors.
