(Manager will be required to work in field 1x a week on Thursdays to gain experience with our DODD clients. Typically 6 to 8 hour shift. A multifaceted job with responsibilities to provide support for Our Home Health, company, including support for Administrator, supervisor, office manager, office staff, and field staff. Primary function is to grow the home health care business by insuring that all cases are staffed with the most qualified staff, especial our DODD CONSUMERS. Creating excellence with making quality matches between patients and caregivers, customer service follow up, hiring standards and the mentoring of staff to establish credibility in the community. Responsibilities are not limited to what is listed below but must be flexible to agencies need. This position is based in Dayton, Ohio and requires a Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM availability. Must be great communicator, excellent on the phone and tech savvy. RESPONSIBILITES: Insuring customer service satisfaction through follow up with patients and employees, and community partners. Scheduling staff with best fit to match to insure patient and staff satisfaction. Payroll, employee files, new hire testing and paper work, background checks (BCI), Meeting with SSA for our DODD consumers, answer phone calls from case managers, state and from time to time clients home visits to ensure field aides and clients are both satisfied. Performing temporary aide duties in the field, when the client was new or when the field aides were not immediately available. Ability to plan and be proactive in staffing ongoing visits and monthly schedules with continuity and as far into the future as possible. Filing, mailing, and other duties as assigned by Clinical Supervisor or Administrator. Assists with ensuring effective recruiting and retention to meet growth needs. Coordinates all aspects of daily scheduling. Insure all cases and departments are fully staffed in a timely and efficient manner. Proficient at computer scheduling and dealing with multiple tasks. Participate in weekly or as scheduled staff meetings. Provide reminder calls to staff and clients on a as needed to ensure smooth schedules for both staff and clients Proficient at scheduling in most efficient manner for time worked and miles driven. Maintains and updates call schedules. Coordinates orientation of new staff members. REQUIREMENTS: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal relations. Ability to develop and maintain a rapport with staff and clients. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on unfinished tasks, open schedules and client/staff concerns. Maintain confidential information and use of discretion in decision making. Self-motivated, industrious, organized and efficient with excellent time. Management skills and good project coordination skills. Home Health, DODD consumers, PCA or Medical office experience Preferred. College degree, LPN'S/ STNA/CNA/HHH, 2 years experience managing a home health agency. High School graduate+2 years' experience managing home health agency, DODD a plus. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP. Reports to Clinical Supervisor and/or other Administrator and or Director of Operations. Pay: Competitive with a minimum of 15 Hour.
