About the position

The Office Manager position at a local manufacturing company in Colorado Springs involves overseeing various office functions, including accounting, invoicing, and administrative support to the President/CEO. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office operations and ensuring smooth communication within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing and performing most of the office accounting entries.
  • Tracking Accounts Receivable and managing delinquent accounts.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Performing shipping and receiving functions.
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Acting as a personal assistant to the President/CEO.

Requirements

  • Five years of work experience related to Small Office Accounts Payable/Receivable.
  • A minimum of a two-year college degree, or a four-year degree in business, finance, or accounting for new graduates.
  • Experience creating and submitting invoices to clients.
  • Good understanding of ERP systems and double-entry accounting principles.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Exceptional social skills for client and vendor communication.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience breaking down Sales Revenue into different P&L groups.
  • Reconciliation of Sales Forecast to Actual Sales.
  • Managing Accounts Payable.
  • Solid understanding of accounting cycles in a small office.
  • Experience managing shipping and receiving.
