About the position

The Office Manager at Elite Dental Partners plays a crucial role in providing non-clinical support to a network of dental practices. This position involves leading a team to ensure exceptional patient experiences, managing daily operations, and maintaining office profitability while adhering to compliance standards. The Office Manager will also be responsible for training staff, coordinating schedules, and overseeing financial reporting, all while fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and coach teams to provide exceptional patient experiences.
  • Challenge, encourage, and inspire team members to achieve desired results.
  • Build alliances within the business emphasizing high moral, collegiality, and effective teamwork.
  • Focus on a productive schedule that supports dentists and hygienists.
  • Work within budget guidelines to maintain office profitability.
  • Coordinate daily team huddles and meetings.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, training, and annual performance reviews for team members.
  • Schedule team members to ensure adequate shift coverage and facilitate time-off requests.
  • Assist in interviewing and onboarding new hires.
  • Provide training and support to ensure staff knowledge of business procedures and protocols.
  • Review monthly financial reporting, including Profit & Loss statements.
  • Support daily office operations with a focus on employee engagement and revenue cycle management.
  • Respond to clinical and operational concerns in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the point person for office management duties, including office maintenance and payroll verification.
  • Order clinical and non-clinical supplies and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Experience with dental management software, preferably Dentrix.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures and privacy regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer service focused with experience in healthcare.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
