About the position

The Office Manager at Spencer Dental and Braces is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing non-licensed staff. This role involves participating in community events, promoting a positive image of the practice, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The Office Manager will also focus on staff training, satisfaction, and retention while achieving performance targets and maintaining operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day functions of the dental office and non-licensed staff members.
  • Ensure quality and passionate dental care is delivered to every patient.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels by interviewing and selecting applicants.
  • Promote team member satisfaction and retention through effective communication and recognition practices.
  • Identify training needs and establish initiatives for staff development.
  • Achieve office performance targets such as patient forecasts and satisfaction results.
  • Ensure operational readiness and presentation of the office.
  • Drive local marketing efforts by participating in community events and school screenings.
  • Uphold integrity by adhering to government regulations and company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years management experience of 15 or more employees, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Management experience in healthcare, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience with Commercial Insurance or Medicaid billing.
  • Experience training staff.
  • Experience with employee relations and performance management practices.
