The Office Manager at Franklin Dental & Braces plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office while supporting the mission of providing quality dental care. This position involves managing non-licensed staff, maintaining office performance, and engaging with the community to promote a positive image of the practice. The Office Manager will also focus on team member satisfaction and retention, ensuring a collaborative and rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day functions of the dental office, as well as the management of all non-licensed staff members.
  • Ensure the office delivers quality and passionate dental care to every patient.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels by interviewing and selecting applicants to meet patient schedules.
  • Responsible for team member satisfaction and retention through practices that promote communication, rewards/recognition, teamwork, and effective employee relations practices.
  • Ensure training and development of staff by identifying training needs and establishing initiatives to meet company/individual objectives.
  • Achieve office performance targets such as patient forecasts and satisfaction results.
  • Responsible for the operational readiness, appearance, and presentation of the office.
  • Drive local marketing efforts through participation in local community affairs and events to promote a positive image of the office.
  • Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years management experience of 15 or more employees, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Management experience in healthcare, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience with Commercial Insurance or Medicaid billing.
  • Experience training staff.
  • Experience with employee relations and performance management practices.
