About the position

The Office of Technology Trainee position involves providing full life cycle support for customer-facing technologies in a multi-agency environment. The role requires excellent customer support skills and includes working with various devices such as personal computers, printers, and communication devices, while utilizing remote tools and on-site assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full life cycle support for customer-facing technologies via phone, on-site, or remote tools.
  • Support personal computer devices, peripherals, printers, and communication devices.
  • Assist with operating systems including Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Provide support for software applications such as Google, Microsoft, and agency-specific applications.
  • Handle devices including smartphones, VoIP phones, iPads, tablets, and laptops.
  • Deliver excellent customer support and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university with nine (9) semester hours of computer science or information technology, or a high school diploma with completion of a certificate.
  • Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in information, telecommunication, or wireless technology.
