About the position

Our client, a foreign policy think tank, is seeking a direct hire Office Operations & Facilities Coordinator to support their Facilities and Events team in Washington, DC. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment and supporting various administrative functions. The Office Operations & Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for managing files through online databases and organizational systems, which is essential for maintaining an efficient workflow. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare monthly financial reports, process vendor payments, and handle expense reports, ensuring that all financial documentation is accurate and timely. The coordinator will also maintain office inventory and order office supplies, which is vital for keeping the office well-stocked and operational. Calendar management and scheduling meetings will be part of the daily responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The role includes reviewing and editing attendance records or overtime reports, which is important for accurate payroll processing. Furthermore, the coordinator will coordinate with maintenance teams to address any repairs needed for facilities or equipment, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
