The Office Services Assistant (Part-Time) at Cavaliers Holdings LLC plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of office services, particularly focusing on the office refreshment and snack program, as well as mailing, shipping, and receiving tasks. This position is integral to maintaining inventory for various office functions, including office supplies, toner, refreshments, stationery, and conference room supplies. Working closely with the Office Services Coordinator, the assistant is expected to provide exceptional customer service, fostering a customer-centric environment that aligns with the organization's commitment to delivering epic experiences for fans and team members alike. In this fast-paced and high-energy setting, the Office Services Assistant must be adaptable, responding to multiple incoming requests from team members while efficiently accomplishing a daily checklist. A sense of urgency is essential, as the role requires timely responses to requests and proactive management of office supplies and services. The assistant will also have opportunities to learn and grow within the sports industry, gaining familiarity with the processes and practices of the organization's Procurement & Project Services. This part-time position is based onsite at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The role demands a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to lift and move boxes weighing over 50 lbs. The Office Services Assistant will also assist with maintaining copiers and printers, ensuring they are stocked and functioning properly, and will support the receptionist with phone coverage and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the stocking and tracking of all essential office products.
  • Assist in the stocking and tracking of all refreshments and snacks.
  • Assist in the stocking and tracking of all printer and toner cartridges.
  • Accomplish daily checklist items.
  • Monitor product rotation procedures and process product quality issues.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving for all areas of the business, along with key mailroom operations.
  • Maintain all copiers and printers in proper working order and stock all necessary supplies.
  • Place service calls for malfunctioning copiers, printers, and fax machines, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
  • Assist receptionist position with phone coverage and duties as necessary.
  • Respond to team member requests in a timely and complete manner.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail.
  • Maintain clean and organized working areas.
  • Take initiative on tasks and projects that create lasting impact.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes in excess of 50 lbs.
