Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with eligibility inquiries for the Maryland Children's Health Program.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • One year of experience performing clerical duties.
  • 30 credit hours of education at an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of required experience.
  • Six months of clerical training with three courses in relevant subjects may substitute for six months of required experience.
  • U.S. Armed Forces military service experience in Administrative classifications may substitute for required experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with a diverse population in a public health setting that is high volume and quick-paced.
  • Experience working in or knowledge of public entitlement programs.
  • Bi-lingual.
