About the position

The Security Officer I at Wind Creek Hospitality is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, and property within the casino environment. This role involves checking identification of patrons, monitoring the gaming floor, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while enforcing age restrictions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of patrons appearing under the age of 30 years.
• Monitor the casino floor for under-age patrons and security issues.
• Maintain focus and concentration amidst distractions.
• Control alcoholic beverages and ensure they do not leave the property.
• Provide a warm welcome to patrons entering or leaving the building.
• Prepare written reports to document incidents.
• Transport guests in company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled in a GED program.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• One (1) year of experience in law enforcement, military, or security capacity required, or one (1) year in a front of house position within Wind Creek required.
• Must successfully complete a basic Security Officer training program with a minimum 80% pass rate within sixty (60) days of employment.
• Must meet and maintain departmental physical fitness standards.
