About the position

The Strategy & Innovation Officer will lead the development and execution of the district's strategic priorities, ensuring effective monitoring of progress towards ambitious educational outcomes. This role involves managing comprehensive strategic plans, enhancing performance management processes, and preparing reports to align with the district's mission. A strong background in data analytics, project management, and change management is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise in strategic thinking and planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Ensure successful completion of major projects and initiatives associated with the district's strategic plan, Next Is Now, and others as assigned.
• Lead and oversee the Strategic Plan Accountability Committee (SPAC) and confer with district officials to plan business objectives and develop organizational policies.
• Address planning implementation issues and assist in removing barriers to progress and success.
• Report progress to the Superintendent and develop tracking tools to ensure goals are met on time and within budget.
• Deliver quarterly presentations on the district's progress in meeting strategic plan goals to various stakeholders.
• Drive employee and public engagement efforts to ensure representative participation in strategic planning and special projects.
• Prepare recommendations for the Superintendent and Senior Leaders on strategic thinking, project management, and organizational development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Strategy, Leadership, Business, or Management.
• 10 years of experience in IT, technology, business, marketing, or finance-related fields.
