About The Position

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating adoption events
• Maintaining event schedule and calendar
• Recruiting volunteers and Offsite Event Specialists to work events
• Gathering information about events and communicating with HSGD staff, event partners, and volunteers
• Preparing event email templates and photos at least 24 hours before events
• Running, managing, and representing HSGD at community events and off-site adoption events if needed
• Making HSGD present with adoptable animals and literature at targeted events throughout the Miami Valley
• Working with volunteers, training volunteers, and promoting the goals of HSGD
