About the position

The Non-Op Revenue Analyst at Trinity Petroleum Management will focus on general revenue accounting duties, specifically booking non-operating checks for clients in the oil and gas industry. This role involves analyzing revenue data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various financial projects. The position offers flexibility in work location, including options for hybrid or fully remote work.

Responsibilities

• Process and account for production and revenue generated from gas, oil, and NGLs.
• Analyze purchaser statements and prepare revenue spreadsheet allocation schedules, ensuring proper accounting for taxes, deductions, and allowable exemptions.
• Perform account reconciliations for revenue, royalty, and tax accounts.
• Respond to owner requests and prepare special reports and worksheets as required.
• Work with the Division Order Analyst to set up and maintain revenue division orders.
• Maintain files with supporting documentation of work performed.
• Maintain internal controls and comply with clients' control procedures.
• Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Self-starting, detailed, results-oriented team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Excalibur System experience preferred but not required.
• 1 year of SQL experience preferred.
