The Assistant Shop Manager will oversee daily operations, assist in training new employees, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining shop cleanliness and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence
• Run the floor, ensuring each employee is in their designated position and all vehicles are checked
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathroom

Requirements

• No experience needed
• Leadership skills
• Entry level position
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit safely
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop
