Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager. In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service while also managing the daily activities of the shop. We pride ourselves on our efficient oil change process, which allows customers to stay in their vehicles while we perform the service. As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and help guide a team of technicians in providing top-notch service. The ideal candidate will be a people person who is driven and eager to learn. Experience in the automotive industry is valued but not required, as we provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with the necessary skills to succeed. You will learn how to manage shop operations, change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. Our growth path is designed to help you advance quickly within the company, with over 90% of our Shop Managers starting as Crew Members or Assistant Shop Managers. In addition to your managerial duties, you will be responsible for ensuring that the shop runs smoothly in the absence of the Shop Manager. This includes overseeing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all vehicles are serviced correctly and efficiently. You will also play a key role in training new employees, instilling in them the Take 5 way of service.
