The Oil Change District Manager position at Sparkling Image Car Wash is a pivotal role that requires an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee operations across multiple locations in the Orlando and Southern Florida area. This position is responsible for driving operational and sales success within the district, ensuring that all service centers deliver outstanding customer care and adhere to business standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing multi-location territories and will be instrumental in building customer loyalty through exceptional service. In this role, the District Manager will lead and direct the activities of quick lube managers, setting clear goals to continuously improve customer service and financial performance. The position demands a hands-on approach, with regular visits to service centers to ensure that site managers are focused on priorities and building effective teams. The District Manager will also provide sales leadership, ensuring that all selling standards and opportunities are met while holding site managers accountable for safety and operational compliance. The successful candidate will embody the company values, treating customers and employees with dignity and respect, and will be responsible for coaching and developing service center personnel to deliver superior service. This full-time exempt position requires a commitment of 45-55 hours per week, including weekends, and involves significant local travel between stores. The District Manager will also be expected to perform auto services and teach technical skills to staff as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all activities of operations in the region to achieve operational performance targets.
  • Lead and direct each quick lube manager by setting goals for improved customer service and financial performance.
  • Ensure site managers are focused on priorities and building their teams to maximize results.
  • Provide sales leadership to ensure all selling standards and opportunities are being met.
  • Hold site managers accountable for safety, operational compliance, and exceeding customer service expectations.
  • Ensure service centers embody company values and provide an 'Impressed' level of service.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees to deliver business results.
  • Spend significant time at locations for hands-on management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing multiple units and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and motivating management and unit personnel to achieve/exceed financial goals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Ability to work 5-6 days per week (45-55 hours).
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to personally perform auto services and teach technical skills.
