About the position

The Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 is responsible for overseeing daily operations in an oil change shop, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of employees. This role involves both managerial duties and hands-on technician tasks, providing a comprehensive experience in the automotive service industry. Responsibilities

• Check in with customers before they leave the shop to ensure a great experience.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence.
• Run the floor by ensuring each employee is in their designated area and that all vehicles are checked properly.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory levels.
• Train and develop subordinates as part of management responsibilities.
• Act as a role model for other employees in the shop.
• Hold team members accountable for their performance.
• Perform technician duties including oil changes, fluid inspections, and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in sales management or a related field.
