About the position

The Oil Change Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lube shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of technicians. This role involves maintaining high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness while also handling inventory and customer complaints. The manager will play a key role in developing team members and communicating effectively with the District Manager to meet company goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive an experience that exceeds industry standards.
• Build and oversee a team of 8-12 individuals including assistant managers and technicians.
• Perform light duty preventive maintenance services on vehicles.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of products and services to customers.
• Develop team members and maintain open communication for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
• Maintain communication with the District Manager regarding company policies and goals.
• Handle customer complaints strategically.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of lube shop management experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Full mobility and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot and/or cold environments.
