Responsibilities

  • Manages the most advanced and complex portfolio within a given segment of specialty assets, including real estate, oil & gas, farm & ranch, timberland, and private businesses group.
  • Partners closely with Private Bank relationship/client managers to provide creative solutions to complex customer/asset needs.
  • Responsible for the comprehensive management of oil, gas, and mineral assets held in trusts, estates, agency accounts, or corporate entities.
  • Negotiates oil and gas leases and manages the development of oil and gas assets.
  • Involved in all aspects of lease administration, division order administration, title verification, deed/contract interpretation and preparation, domicile and ancillary probate procedures.
  • Reviews and approves payment of ad valorem taxes.
  • Reviews and approves WI joint interest billings.
  • Works as part of the client team to prepare and present customized presentations.
  • Performs annual reviews on client accounts.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations to approve or reject the acceptance of new accounts, and coordinates and assists with all necessary paperwork associated with closing accounts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Petroleum Land/Energy Management or legal background a plus.
  • Fiduciary Mineral Management and Land Experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Results driven, detail oriented, and motivated self-starter.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Drilling Info is preferred.
  • RPL, CPL, or other certifications preferred but not required.
