About the position

The Okta Engineer at Accenture Federal Services plays a crucial role in enhancing the security of federal government systems by administering, implementing, and maintaining Okta solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of security frameworks and the ability to design customized solutions to protect sensitive information. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on security requirements and implementation goals, contributing to the overall mission of making the nation stronger and safer.

Responsibilities

• Administer, implement and maintain Okta solutions.
• Analyze the secure design, architecture, installation, configuration, hardening, and remediation for software applications to protect organizations' sensitive information.
• Help develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach.
• Coordinate with customer, operations stakeholders, and broader organization to align on requirements, standards, and end state implementation goals.

Requirements

• One year of Cyber and/or IT experience.
• Hands-on experience administering and/or installing Okta.
• Hands-on experience gathering business requirements from respective clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experienced in the acquisition, design, sizing, deployment, installation, maintenance, operating and usage of the Government Enterprise networks.
• Familiarity with the NIST 800, FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework, Security Controls, and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) operating standards and applicable guidelines.
• One or more certifications in Identity & Access Management (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, ForgeRock) or Networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper).
