About the position

The OMHC Psychiatric Nurse Director at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group (CCG) is responsible for providing administrative oversight, leadership, and vision for outpatient mental health services across multiple locations in the Western Region. This role involves managing clinical, business, fiscal, and operational aspects of the mental health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing program delivery to improve patient care. The director will collaborate with clinical coordinators and supervise licensed therapists, while also engaging in community outreach and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct management of the mental health group practice, including the mental health vocational program and PRP.
  • Supervise licensed therapists from a Nursing perspective, providing clinical and administrative guidance for regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in community education, outreach, and referral generation.
  • Ensure adequate documentation of charting and reporting to ensure compliance and quality care.
  • Identify areas of programmatic need and contribute to system development for program growth.
  • Develop knowledge of community resources and build integrated relationships with outside providers.
  • Write, edit, review, and update policies and procedures for all clinical programs.
  • Ensure integration of care within CCG between programs.
  • Serve as project lead for implementation of new clinical services to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and efficiency of patient flow.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field; Bachelor's degree plus two years related experience can substitute for a Master's degree.
  • Fully licensed in his/her mental health profession in the State of Maryland as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Supervisory and Health Care Program Administration training or experience.

  • Experience in supervising mental health professionals.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health care.
