About the position
The position involves operating various types of school transportation vehicles, including school buses, carryalls, and vans. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safe transport of students and authorized individuals to and from school, as well as to extracurricular and special activity trips as directed by school officials.
Responsibilities
- Operate school buses, carryalls, and vans.
- Transport students safely to and from school routes.
- Transport authorized persons for field trips and extracurricular activities.
- Follow directives from school officials regarding transportation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Experience in operating large vehicles, preferably school buses.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for transporting students.
Nice-to-haves
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with children or in a school environment.
