About The Position

The On-Call Caregiver position at ComForCare Home Care involves providing essential care services to clients in Southeast Montgomery County. Caregivers will be on-call and must be ready to step in to assist clients with personal care, medication management, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and companionship. Requirements

• 3 years of caregiving experience (required).
• Must be willing to work in Montgomery County South East.
• Own vehicle or reliable transport (required).
• Health Tests: 2-step PPD (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 2 years) or QuantiFERON Gold Test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with medication reminders and administering prescribed medications.
• Aid with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids.
• Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
• Observe and report changes in health conditions, including vital signs if required.
• Maintain records of care activities, including medication administration and changes in health status.
