About the position
Brightmoor Hospice is seeking a compassionate On Call RN to join our After Hours team. This full-time position involves providing high-quality care to patients and families during the overnight shift, ensuring that our commitment to excellence in hospice and palliative medicine is upheld. Responsibilities
- Provide on-call nursing care to patients during overnight hours.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist in the management of patient symptoms and provide emotional support to families.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to patient and family needs in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Valid RN License required.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- BLS certification.
