About the position

The On Call Support Technician I position at The Car Park involves providing exceptional customer service to parking customers by managing incoming calls from local parking locations. The role includes assisting customers with entry and exit from garages, monitoring camera surveillance, and answering general inquiries about parking services. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from local parking locations and provide assistance to customers.
  • Assist guests, valets, and monthly parkers with entry and exit into garages when the help button is pressed.
  • Direct communication with Field and Ambassador Staff for events, incidents, and equipment issues.
  • Monitor camera surveillance and parking systems in all area parking garages and lots.
  • Test garage and elevator intercoms and manage garage space counts.
  • Answer general questions about ticket fees, on-street parking hours, and events over the phone.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or telemarketing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High proficiency with Windows 10 or similar operating systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
  • Punctuality and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to multitask.
