About the position

The On-Demand Planner Scheduler position at PMOLink is a pivotal role designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project scheduling solutions for our clients. This position focuses on the development, updating, and reporting of project schedules to support the delivery of our On-Demand Scheduling™ (ODS) service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative professionals and profit-oriented organizations, aiming to significantly improve the quality of their project scheduling while achieving a reduction in scheduling costs by at least 50%. Our ODS service is tailored to assist organizations in standardizing their project schedule development processes, ensuring timely updates and comprehensive reporting. By alleviating the burden of maintaining project schedules and generating reports, we empower client managers to focus on managing their projects effectively rather than getting bogged down by administrative tasks. This role will require a blend of technical skills, effective communication, and a customer-centric approach to ensure the successful delivery of our services. Candidates will be expected to utilize various scheduling and reporting software, provide on-site support to our ODS clients, and leverage web conferencing tools for remote assistance. The role may also involve additional tasks as necessary to support the overall delivery of the ODS service, making it a dynamic and engaging position for those passionate about project management and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules using scheduling software.
  • Update and report on tasks to support ODS service delivery.
  • Provide on-site support to ODS clients as needed.
  • Utilize web conferencing software for remote client support.
  • Assist in standardizing project schedule development processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to improve project scheduling solutions.

Requirements

  • College degree or relevant experience in project scheduling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Experience in training others on scheduling software is a plus.
  • Experience with Turnarounds and Shutdowns is valuable.
  • Knowledge of Critical Path optimization is valuable.
  • Familiarity with web conferencing software is a plus.
